Overview

As an Assistant Commercial Accountant you'll support the Finance team in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information that drives commercial decision-making. You'll play a key role in maintaining financial records, analysing data, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring financial controls are upheld. Your work will help the business understand performance, manage costs, and identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements
  • Confident working with numbers and interpreting data to support decision-making
  • Strong understanding of how finance contributes to business performance
  • Comfortable using Excel and financial systems (e.g., ERP or accounting software)
  • Collaborative team player who shares information clearly and effectively
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Proactive in identifying and solving problems independently
  • CIMA qualification preferred, but not essential
