Swagelok Southeast Texas, a Certified Great Place to Work, is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician III to join our Custom Solutions team in La Porte, TX. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision and quality, and thrives in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Position Summary:

The Assembly Technician III independently performs a wide range of complex assemblies, including tube bending, instrumentation installations, and leak testing. This role works closely with Custom Solutions Engineers and Technical Advisors to interpret system layouts and ensure that every build meets Swagelok’s high standards of quality and reliability.

What You’ll Do:

Assemble and test basic to complex mechanical systems with minimal supervision.

Perform precise tube bending, instrumentation, and fitting installations.

Interpret and work from detailed drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Assist with technical questions related to system layouts and design.

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace while meeting productivity goals.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday, flexible start time between 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM

9-hour shift (8 paid hours) with 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks

Overtime required at times based on business needs

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

7+ years of assembly or instrumentation experience preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with precision tools (calipers, torque wrenches, etc.)

Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics

Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
