Academics is seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist or an experienced Teaching Assistant to join the Education and Training sector!

Role details
  • Role: Aspiring Educational Psychologist
  • Work with: 55 students, in classes of 6-8 based on ability
  • Salary: £460-£500 per week
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 15:30
  • Location: Kempston, Bedfordshire
  • Sector: Education and Training
Responsibilities
  • Observe and work alongside therapists, SEN specialists, and Mental Health professionals.
  • Play a crucial part in improving the lives of children, providing them with a sense of purpose.
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, particularly those with Autism, focusing on both key skills and personal/functional development.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • An undergraduate degree (preferable) and/or prior experience with SEN - ideal for Criminology and Psychology graduates.
  • A strong interest in mental health and Autism.
  • Knowledge or keen interest in learning and behavioural needs, particularly SEMH.
