Job description

Our client is a well-established and expanding asbestos company, providing a broad range of asbestos and environmental services to a mixed portfolio of clients and due to current state of the business, they are looking for a high calibre, multi-skilled and ambitious Asbestos Site Analyst who is looking to progress as an Asbestos Project Manager in and around the Scotland – Central Belt. Undertaking duties such as overseeing site staff and making sure that they are complying with H&S Regulations, producing reports, and air testing on a range of sites. Applications from, Hamilton, Paisley, Cumberland, and the surrounding areas will be taken into consideration.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • The applicant must hold the P403/P404 or the equivalent – RSPH certificates and at the same time must have significant demonstrable experience working within this role and within the asbestos sector.
  • Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.
  • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Aspects of the Role:
  • Carrying out smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation and personal air testing on various properties.
  • Overseeing asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the Health & Safety procedures appertaining to asbestos.
  • Liaising with clients on a regular basis and dealing with issues appropriately and effectively.
  • Producing comprehensive reports as and when required.

  • Must be prepared to travel extensively.
