Overview

This leading UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, who provides specialist advice and services on all asbestos disciplines nationwide, are currently seeking the services of an experienced and target driven Asbestos Sales Manager based in and around the Bournemouth area. The successful candidate will ideally have experience successfully selling asbestos services to a varied client base, although consideration will be given to sales managers from another environmental sector or strong asbestos consultants looking to develop into asbestos sales. Applications from Christchurch, Poole, Ringwood, Wareham and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • A strong sales, business development, management, technical and office background is essential.
  • Ideally experience working in a business development or sales role within the asbestos or environmental industry.
  • Have a good formal education.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
Role
  • Resourcing new contracts whilst managing existing ones.
  • Involvement with the sales, commercial and financial side of the business.
  • Promoting the company’s asbestos services.
  • Produce quotations and submit tenders.
  • Develop and monitor business forecasts and budgets.
  • Build a professional working relationship with clients/customers.
  • Maintaining the company’s systems.
  • Attend and conduct meetings to discuss financial position of the business, etc.
  • Achieving target and goals.
  • Assist in the development of the sales staff by providing further training where required.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety procedures.
  • Developing plans for new clients and suppliers – contracts or services.
