Job description

Overview

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading International Defence company, seeking to recruit an Apprenticeship Coach (Electronics) on a permanent basis due to growth. The role covers the South West of the UK and offers fully remote work from home, with frequent travel to Salisbury.

The Apprenticeship Coach – Electronics Technician is responsible for delivering workplace-based learning, coaching, and assessment to ensure apprentices successfully complete their programs while meeting industry, ESFA, and Ofsted standards.

Responsibilities include achieving Key Performance Indicators, scheduling visits, completing documentation, and supporting learners throughout their apprenticeship journey. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support, motivate, and coach learners, ensuring timely completion of all apprenticeship components in accordance with awarding bodies, ESFA, and Ofsted standards.
  • Monitor and review learner progress aligned with client expectations.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and within deadlines.
  • Offer portfolio building advice based on program requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in a relevant industry environment.
  • Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Relevant industry qualification in Electronics (minimum Level 3).

Role Details:

  • Location: South West UK (Remote with travel to Salisbury)
  • Salary: £37,310 + Vehicle
  • Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 37 hours/week
