Job description

Are you looking for an AOI Operator/Inspector job based in Bedford, Bedfordshire?

My client is a fully-fledged subcontract electronic manufacturer supplying products to a diverse customer base. They now require an AOI Operator/Inspector to work within their production site in Bedford, Bedfordshire.

As an AOI Operator/Inspector, you will be responsible for using AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) equipment to inspect a variety of electronic circuit card assemblies, ensuring they meet IPC-A-610 standards and are free of defects. These products will be produced on the in-house Surface Mount Production Line. You will operate the equipment and follow relevant instructions and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PCB inspection and AOI inspection, with good experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in PCB production.

In addition to working with AOI machinery, you should also be able to inspect cable forms, harnesses, unit assemblies, and populated S/M & conventional PCB assemblies at the component level.
