A leading aircraft maintenance company in Aldershot is seeking a B1 Aircraft Engineer to join their successful team. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance, as well as supervising mechanics and interacting with customers. Candidates must possess a UK CAA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License and relevant experience, ideally with specific aircraft types. A competitive salary up to £100,000 is offered.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance.

  • A+D pre and post servicing.
  • Supervise mechanics.

Skills

UK CAA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License
Familiarity with Part-M, Part-145 regulations
6 months relevant aircraft maintenance experience
BD700 type rating B1+B2
Experience on Bombardier Types CL350/CL604
Knowledge of human factors and performance
Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Effective communication skills
Ability to use standard and special tools

Role

Role will include:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance
  • Complete tasks as per work schedule
  • A+D pre and post servicing
  • Supervising Mechanics
  • Interact with customers any queries, quotes and/or requests
Applicants skills
  • UK CAA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License
  • Familiarity with Part-M, Part-145 and any other relevant regulations
  • You have been involved in at least 6 months of actual relevant aircraft maintenance experience in any consecutive 2-year period
  • Hold BD700 type rating B1+B2
  • Experience working on Bombardier Types CL350/CL604 ideal, or other Business Aircraft makes too.
  • Knowledge on, and practicing of, human factors, human performance and limitations
  • Knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL when relevant
  • You have the ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings
  • You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual task and / or aircraft status
  • You have the ability to use standard tools, special tools and operate ground support equipment
