Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to maintain systems on-site at Bristol. Responsibilities include scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and producing service quotations. The ideal candidate must hold F-Gas and NVQ Level 3 certifications, have strong electrical and mechanical skills, and be ready to respond to callouts. This role requires a valid UK Driving License and proficiency with IT packages.

Qualifications

  • C&G 2079 Cat1 required.
  • NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification essential.
  • F-Gas certification necessary.
  • Good mechanical and electrical knowledge needed.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety obligations required.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out service maintenance works on Air Conditioning systems.
  • Attend and complete scheduled PPMs & Reactive works.
  • Troubleshoot and fault-find on A/C systems.
  • Produce quotations for works following service visits.
  • Work alone or with others when necessary.

Air Conditioning Engineer

Based: On site at Rolls-Royce, Bristol Business Park BS16

Hours: 40hrs Monday to Friday (day shift)

What this job involves: As an Air Conditioning Engineer at JLL, you'll be part of a team that's shaping a brighter way for our clients and fellow employees. You'll apply your expertise to design, install, and maintain air conditioning systems onsite at our client Rolls-Royce. Role Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service maintenance works on Rolls-Royce sit in Bristol. The successful candidate will provide a professional service to our client working on a varied selection of Air Conditioning systems.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Attend and complete PPMs & Reactive works as scheduled including breakdowns.
  • Have install experience (retrofit/system replacements).
  • Troubleshooting/ Fault finding on all A/C systems.
  • To produce quotations for works /remedials following service visits.
  • To work on Splits, VRFS, AHUs and DX systems and some Central Plant.
  • To be able to work alone and with other team members when necessary.
  • Complete all FGAS paperwork on sites and update logbooks in client premises.
  • To be part of the Out of Hours Call Out Rota.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • C&G 2079 Cat1
  • NVQ Level 3 or similar
  • F-Gas
  • Good Mechanical & Electrical Background
  • Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs
  • Sound understanding of Health & Safety obligations with regards to maintenance activities
  • Must be prepared to work out of hours when required and on a scheduled callout rota
  • Have good communication and organisation skills
  • UK Driving License
  • Good understanding of IT packages including Outlook, Word etc
