Overview

We are looking for experienced Agile Coaches to join our coaching team to deliver the day-to-day coaching, training and mentoring needed for new and existing Agile squads across the organisation. If you're someone who's performed a similar role already, this is the perfect opportunity to develop your career and have your impact on making our products and services better for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Working closely with squads to support them in delivering value, quality and a great customer experience.
  • Collaborating with other Agile coaches to encourage, adopt and evolve the understanding of agility, values, principles, processes and tools throughout the wider business.
  • Assisting those involved in products, projects and programmes understand the benefits of limiting work in progress, establishing flow, focusing on delivering value, building quality in and seeking feedback using iterative development methods.
  • Championing the Agile mindset and being a true servant leader with the ability to step in, build relationships and work with squads at varying stages in their Agile journey.
  • Building and delivering training across a range of Agile roles and techniques for Product Owners, Scrum Masters and others.
  • Growing the Lean and Agile communities within the organisation, establishing communities of practice and wider experience sharing and development groups.
  • Extensive experience as a Scrum Master in multiple teams and contexts.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Agile teachings, approaches and behaviours.
Qualifications
  • Experience of Agile in a variety of contexts.
  • Rich set of facilitation, training, mentoring and coaching tools and techniques.
  • Experience of teaching and coaching the adoption of Agile practices such as user story mapping and prioritisation techniques.
  • A real passion for continuous learning and the ability to facilitate classes, workshops and other sharing events such as Meet-ups.
Employment details
  • Santander UK is currently in an exciting phase of its journey to pivot to more Agile ways of working, with the aim of delivering on our passion of being the easiest way to make our customers "better" happen.
  • We offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
