Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Financial Services Advice Assurance.
• Ideally qualified or working towards a Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Proficient knowledge of financial services products including pensions and investments.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient Advice Assurance service based on a risk-based methodology.
• Assess advice quality and documentation of Specialist Financial Advisers.
• Support new SFAs in their professional development and feedback.

Your role :

• To provide an efficient and professional Advice Assurance service in accordance with the agreed risk-based methodology.
• You will mitigate advice risk by working with fully competent Specialist Financial Advisers (SFAs) to assess and give feedback on the quality of their advice and the documentation held within the records.
• You will also support new SFAs to coach and mentor improvements in their advice quality, and occasionally supporting SFAs in providing more complex and higher risk financial advice.

What you’ll be doing :

• Assessing advice given by SFAs, ensuring advice is in line with guidance & regulation
• Supporting new SFAs in improving their advice quality
• Providing accurate and consistent written and verbal feedback to Financial Advisers
• To offer SFAs focussed support on checking-based queries to help them prepare their advice and resolve any outstanding issues on their cases.

We’re looking for :

• Demonstrable Financial Services Advice Assurance experience
• Ideally qualified or working towards Diploma in Financial Planning (DipFA level 4) or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Regulatory framework of the UK financial services industry
• Knowledge of a wide range of financial services products and services including pensions, investments, protection and inheritance tax planning
• Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills
