Job description

Mendip Vale Medical Group (MVMG) are looking for further Advanced Practitioner to join our existing team in our St George's Surgery in Worle, as we expand in our friendly and innovative practices serving over 85,000 patients within our 10 sites in North Somerset, Bristol & South Gloucester.

As an Advanced Practitioner you will exercise advanced clinical expertise, acting within your professional boundaries, providing advanced clinical skills and advice.

If you are passionate about improving patients health outcomes through the demonstration of the sound understanding of the issues related to the identification, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients within your care; as well as working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary surgery team this may be the job for you.

Main duties of the job

To deliver a high standard of patient care as an Advanced Practitioner in general practice, using specialist knowledge, and a broad and in-depth theoretical knowledge base utilising autonomous clinical skills.

Assess, diagnose, plan and implement care for patients presenting with both acute and chronic conditions, within the Surgery and the patients own homes, integrating both drug and non-drug based treatment methods into a management plan.

To implement and operate according to the four pillars of advance practice and in line with the requirements of the NMC/HCPC code of conduct.
