Overview

Administration Manager - Hepatology and Nephrology at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The closing date is 01 February 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to become part of the Hepatology and Nephrology services at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

As the Administration Manager, you will manage an established administration team for two busy modalities.

The team work extremely hard behind the scenes to ensure that patients have a positive experience when they have contact with the service and we are seeking an individual who will be able to guide the team.

You will look forward to a challenging and rewarding work environment, in which finding a balance between team working and using initiative is key.

Experience of working with the public in a Healthcare setting and use of IT systems would be an advantage.

Main duties of the job

You will provide administrative support to Operational and Clinical teams in the Directorate and will be responsible for developing administrative systems to ensure robust monitoring of the service.

You will work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure the effective running of the service including call handling, appointments and follow-ups and setting up meetings, etc.

This role involves the line management of Administration staff for two clinical services.

  • Educated to NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
