Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a small team of accounts payable assistants.
  • Manage weekly contractor and monthly supplier payment runs.
  • Process contractor timesheets, invoices, and intercompany transactions.
  • Post monthly accruals and reconcile credit card statements.
  • Maintain supplier ledger, direct debits and staff expense checks.
  • Process purchase orders, receipts and supplier invoices.
  • Provide holiday and absence cover across the wider accounts team.

Axon Moore have partnered with an industry leading business in Blackburn, which has witnessed significant growth in recent years, with the recruitment of an Accounts Payable Team Leader able to hit the ground running and add value across the business in terms of processes improvement and team management whilst still being hands-on within the AP function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a supervisory role in a supportive, forward-thinking environment offering genuine flexibility - including hybrid working and reduced hours available (minimum 30 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities and Duties
