Accounts Clerk

Are you an organised and detail-driven accounts professional looking to join a friendly, fast-paced business where your work really matters? We’re looking for an Accounts Clerk to become a valued member of our Accounts team at our Norwich Head Office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with purchase ledger or accounts clerk experience who enjoys working with numbers, solving queries, and supporting the smooth running of a busy finance function.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Matching, checking, coding and inputting invoices into Sage
  • Preparing weekly supplier BACS payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
  • Processing staff expenses and customer refunds
  • Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts
  • Processing consumer finance agreements
  • Assisting with the annual audit
What we’re looking for
  • Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Clerk role
  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail
  • Experience handling confidential information
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Sage accounting software desirable
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • A flexible, reliable and customer‑focused approach
