Accounts Assistant | £26,000 - £30,000 + Study | Wigan + Hybrid | High-growth, market leading business | Great training and benefits

Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering a high-growth business in Wigan as they look to bolster their finance team with the addition of a hard-working Accounts Assistant looking to progress their careers working within a fantastic business which boasts a great working culture and staff benefits.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Accurately input and process purchase invoices in a timely manner
  • Match invoices to purchase orders
  • Accurate coding of invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or internal departments
  • Assist in the preparation and timely submission of revenue claims
  • Compile supporting documentation for the revenue claim
  • Provide support to Accounts Payable and the wider Finance team
  • Respond to internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with month-end processes as required
  • Carry out any other ad hoc duties
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Good IT and MS Excel skills
  • Able to build and maintain long-lasting working relationships
  • Willingness to learn and succeed
  • Good attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal)
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently
