Salary: Up to £26,250 per annum

Hours: Monday-Friday; 08:45-17:00

Our Head Office is looking for an Accounts Assistant/Administrator to join our team based at Boucher Road. You will work alongside a team of administrators and receive support and guidance from our experienced Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop within a dynamic and supportive team.

This isn’t your average Administration vacancy; John Carson, our Head Office Accountant, has worked at Charles Hurst for over 18 years, progressing through various accountancy roles! Our Banking Administrators/Cashiers are vital to our accounting department; they support all banking requirements, from reconciliations to daily showroom queries. This role is highly varied!

  • Supporting all bank reconciliations
  • Referencing bank remittances
  • Communicating with Business Managers regarding payments received
  • Managing same-day requests and liaising with showrooms on ad-hoc queries
  • Checking all necessary documentation
  • Managing cash handling as needed

No industry experience? No problem! We welcome newcomers to automotive finance and are happy to teach you everything. Ideally, candidates will have completed a work placement in finance or hold a finance degree and are eager to start a career in banking.

Strong IT skills are a plus!

We seek individuals with a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships.
