About the Role

Were seeking a motivated and personable Account Manager / Sales Executive to join a growing service-based business. This is a hybrid role split between office-based account management and field-based sales. Youll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring clients receive an exceptional service.

Main & Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of existing clients, providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong relationships.

  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across both commercial and domestic sectors.

  • Conduct field-based sales visits including site inspections, client meetings, and presentations, alongside office-based proposal work and follow-ups.

  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and tailored proposals to demonstrate value and service quality.

  • Manage the full sales process from lead generation and quotation through to contract negotiation and account retention.

  • Maintain accurate records within CRM systems, tracking leads, opportunities, and client communications.

  • Liaise closely with operational and service teams to ensure smooth delivery and high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Attend industry networking events, exhibitions, or meetings to raise the companys profile and expand its client base.

  • Work towards agreed sales targets and KPIs focused on both new business and account growth.

  • Provide regular sales performance and market insight reports to management.

Working Pattern & Environment
  • Approximately 50% of your time will be office-based (client calls, proposals, admin) and 50% will involve field sales (client visits, networking, site inspections).

  • The role offers a mix of autonomy and teamwork, ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work.

  • Youll be expected to travel across the London region and surrounding areas for client meetings and site visits.
