Open to contract workers: Yes, on a derogatory basis compared to civil servant applications. A contract worker can be recruited for service needs or due to the nature of functions when no candidate among civil servants has succeeded. The proposed contract cannot exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum of six years.

Indicative salary: Between €21,206 and €26,000 net annually

Job description

The municipal technical center aims to develop, improve, and preserve the quality of life of the community residents by providing a furniture and real estate park that meets safety and functionality standards.

It operates in various sectors: public buildings, new works and rehabilitation, roads, and maintenance of all assets belonging to Montargis.

This service is structured into management, workshops, and study offices: road management, building management, mechanical workshop, drawing and project study office, new works and rehabilitation office.

Responsibilities / Conditions of exercise

Primary missions:

• Perform urgent and/or routine repairs of sanitary installations;
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of sanitary installations;
• Carry out plumbing work (new and renovation) on sanitary installations;
• Guarantee maintenance of gullies, chutes, manholes, siphons.

Additional occasional missions:

• Participate in assembly/disassembly during city-organized events;
• Participate in technical on-call duties.

Position specifics:

• Punctual work in evenings, weekends, and public holidays, especially during city events, in overtime;
• Work indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions, all seasons, on foot or motorized.

Profiles sought

Skills include teamwork; plumbing skills (diploma or qualifying training); training and/or professional experience are appreciated.

Required certifications:

• Caces category A: hydraulic excavators, tracked or wheeled, 6-tonne mass;
• Caces R. 486 group B type 3: PEMP;
• Electrical authorization BO/H0.
