Job summary
A leading consultancy is seeking a Land Development Manager to oversee strategic development for hyperscale data centres in France. This fully remote role requires expertise in land development, planning processes, and strong communication with stakeholders. Candidates must have a proven background in project management within the data centre sector. The position offers unique opportunities to work on high-value projects shaping Europe's digital infrastructure, with occasional travel across the region.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the early-stage development lifecycle for multiple hyperscale projects.
- Oversee due diligence, feasibility studies, and development appraisals.
- Coordinate planning and permitting processes, engaging with consultants and local authorities.
- Support land acquisition efforts, advising on constraints, risks, and development strategy.
- Act as the key interface between clients, technical teams, and delivery partners.
- Monitor and report on programme, budget, and risk during pre-construction stages.

We are looking for a Land Development Manager to support strategic development programs across France. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading consultancy supporting some of the world’s largest hyperscale data centre clients across the region. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the permitting, planning and pre-construction phases of major hyperscale projects. Acting as a trusted advisor to hyperscale clients, you’ll coordinate all aspects of land acquisition support, planning, permitting, and site readiness, ensuring each site is primed for successful delivery. This is a remote role based in France with periodic travel across the region, offering exposure to complex, high‑value developments shaping the future of Europe’s digital infrastructure.
