Abiomed is recruiting a Clinical Specialist, Interventional Cardiology (H/F).

Ideal candidates will be currently working in the ICU or Operating Room as a Nurse or be a fully trained Perfusionist.

KEY MISSIONS

Provide optimal training and clinical advice to users of our cardiac pump. Internal reporting and cooperation with management and colleagues in the organization are part of your usual professional responsibilities. The clinical specialist will also participate in clinical support in cardiac catheterization labs and/or in operating rooms.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As a clinical specialist, you will:

• Clinical support: contribute to the optimal use of our cardiac pump during procedures through your expertise.
• Coordinate and support user centers through presentations and clinical discussions.
• Staff training: organize training sessions to increase usage and clinical performance for our clients. You will be responsible for supervising the training of our new and existing clients.
• Organize round tables on important topics for our clients: patient identification, optimal treatment, interaction with various medical disciplines.

YOUR EXPERTISE:

• Successful completion of clinical or clinical-technical training, ideally as a state-certified nurse or biomedical engineering.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in direct patient care in intensive care or in cardiology or cardiac surgery departments.
• Convincing attitude and ability to develop and promote long-term client relationships.
• Good communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
• High flexibility and willingness to travel in the specified regions, as well as preparation for emergency situations.
• On-call availability by phone or on-site.
• Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and effectively.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Driving license (mandatory).
