An international organization in France is seeking a Young Associate to support public governance research. The role includes conducting analysis, preparing materials, and engaging in innovative data visualization. The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree and show a good understanding of governance issues. This position offers a starting salary of 3,886 EUR monthly, exempt from French income tax.

The Directorate for Public Governance (GOV) works to help governments at all levels design and implement strategic, evidence‑based and innovative policies to strengthen public governance, respond effectively to diverse and disruptive economic, social and environmental challenges and deliver on governments' commitments to citizens. We provide a forum for policy dialogue and exchange, common standards and principles, comparative international data and analysis to support innovation and reform across the OECD, policy reviews and practical recommendations targeted to the reform priorities of specific governments.
GOV is seeking a highly motivated Young Associate to work in the Director's Office to conduct research and analysis to contribute substantively to GOV's work and decision‑making across areas of public governance. The Young Associate will contribute effectively to achieving the OECD's strategic objectives.
In this role, the Young Associate will undertake research projects, prepare materials, presentations and background analysis and contribute to developing innovative data visualisation. They will also provide statistical and quantitative analysis, carry out literature reviews and contribute to drafting policy and research papers in support of the global agenda on structural reforms to achieve strong, sustainable and inclusive growth. This may include being directly involved in a project, possibly spending several months in a specific Division.
The selected candidate will report directly to GOV's Deputy Director and work closely with colleagues in GOV Divisions and other OECD Directorates.
