About the Role

As a Store Retail Management Trainee at Xiaomi France, you will be part of the company’s Global Direct Retail Expansion strategy, contributing to the implementation and optimization of Xiaomi’s innovative retail model in the France market. Through a structured, international management training program, you will gain first-hand experience across multiple retail functions, participate in high-impact projects, and develop into a future leader in retail operations and team management.

Responsibilities

1. Comprehensive Retail Rotations

  • Undertake structured rotations across Xiaomi Stores and partner retail channels, covering sales operations, customer experience, merchandising, inventory management, and retail analytics.
  • Promote and demonstrate Xiaomi’s smart ecosystem products and digital retail tools to enhance customer engagement.

2. Participation in Global New Retail Initiatives

  • Contribute to retail transformation, digitalization, and market expansion projects led by Xiaomi’s European and global headquarters.
  • Support new store openings, operational standard implementation, and localized brand campaign execution across France and neighboring markets.

3. Operations & Leadership Development

  • Take on team leadership responsibilities under mentor guidance, including staff training, performance tracking, and operational process optimization.
  • Assist in developing and executing localized sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

4. Cross-functional & Cross-market Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and logistics teams to ensure alignment between retail execution and brand strategy.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform global product strategy and improve overall user experience.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s (3rd year) to Master’s student in Retail Management, Marketing, International Business, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
  • Languages: Fluent in both French and English is a must; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
