A global engineering company in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, seeks a Mechanical Technician to perform mechanical tasks and ensure safety compliance. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanics and has knowledge of diesel engines. They must be motivated, rigorous, and able to work autonomously while being part of a team. Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanics required.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines is a plus.

Responsabilités

  • Perform various mechanical tasks including disassembly and inspection.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain and organize the workstation according to 5S standards.
  • Report safety issues and work times.

Responsibilities
  • Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, machining, component requalification, visual and dimensional checks, assembly, and implementation of functional validation tools.
  • Complete quality plans and associated forms (engine quality files, inspection and/or operation certificates…).
  • Review and comply with safety and quality instructions applicable to the workshop, sector, and workstation (display, job sheet, work instructions, quality plan…).
  • Ensure identification and traceability of parts.
  • Check that production, lifting, and inspection equipment are compliant before use.
  • Carry out first‑level maintenance operations when defined, maintain, clean, and organize the workstation according to existing 5S standards.
  • Report safety issues (near misses, hazardous situations) through the "We Care" IT tool.
  • Report and declare daily working times (SAP, attendance sheet, Horoquartz…).
  • Suggest safety and quality improvement actions related to your activity.
  • Work as part of a team, in co‑activity.
