A leading French fashion brand based in Paris is seeking a US Architecture Project Manager to join its Architecture & Maintenance team. This role involves developing and managing architectural projects in the US market and overseeing project phases from design through delivery. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in retail project management, a strong network of US suppliers, and fluency in English and French. Travel to the US is expected.

We are currently looking for a US Architecture Project Manager (M/F) to join our Architecture & Maintenance team.

This position is based in Paris (75) for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing architectural projects in line with the Sézane brand image; working with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners
• Taking primary responsibility for architectural projects in the US market; including both permanent and pop up retail builds or other projects within the context of the brand’s international development
• Providing occasional support on projects in non-US markets as needed
• Contributing to the evolution of the Sézane retail concept by proposing new ideas and adaptations of current concepts to enhance the customer experience of the design and functionality of Sézane retail spaces
• Managing all project phases from concept design (schematic phase) through delivery of the final space.
• Overseeing construction phases, including onsite visits, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with timelines, budgets, and brand quality standards (approximately 30–40% travel to the US to be expected)
• Collaborating with external architecture and design agencies, ensuring alignment with briefs, budgets, and schedules
• Acting as a guardian of Sézane’s architectural and creative intent across all projects

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Architecture or equivalent, minimum 5 years of proven experience in retail project management, including the realisation of projects in the US in a similar role
• Established network of US-based suppliers and partners enabling project delivery (General Contractors, Architects of Record, upholsterers, millworkers, fixture manufacturers, etc.)
• Proven, hands‑on experience in the design and delivery of retail projects in the US, with a solid understanding of US retail requirements, client expectations, and local codes and technical regulations (state‑specific)
• Strong command of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling tools (SketchUp) - hand drawing skills are a plus
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills
• Strong design culture, aesthetic and cultural sensitivity, with a taste for bespoke, high‑standard projects and storytelling
• Bilingual: fluent English is mandatory (native or near‑native level), French required
