Position: Tech Lead PMS Opera (F/M/X)
Overview
As a Technical Lead specializing in the Opera ecosystem, you will provide technical leadership and expertise to support and maintain critical systems including Opera, ORS (Opera Reservation System), OWS (Opera Web Services), ADS (Availability Distribution System), OXIHUB, OXI (Opera XML Interface), IFC (Internet For Guests), PMS (Property Management System), Accor Shell, and AMQ (Advanced Message Queuing). You will supervise a team and drive improvements within the Accor ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership and Team Management: Guide the technical team, provide strategic advice, and promote a culture of innovation.
- Support and Maintenance of Systems: Ensure availability, stability, and performance of Opera systems, and manage critical incidents.
- Expertise and Problem Resolution: Act as an expert, resolve complex issues, and provide level 2 support for PMS.
- Integration and Interfaces: Ensure smooth system integration and collaborate with vendors for interface maintenance.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Keep documentation current, contribute to the knowledge base, and organize team training.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions and analyze performance indicators to optimize systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate knowledge transfer to the Global Support Services (GSS) support team.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You have over 7 years of IT experience, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. You possess in-depth expertise in Opera systems and hotel management systems, with skills in system integration, API management, and a solid understanding of the hospitality industry.
