Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain activities for our offshore/subsea projects. Reporting to the Operations/Projects Director, you will oversee procurement, logistics, contracts, and supplier management to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of materials, equipment, and services. The role requires close collaboration with project management, engineering, HSEQ, and finance teams to support complex subsea construction and installation projects.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Strategic Supply Chain Leadership
- Define and implement supply chain strategies aligned with project execution requirements and corporate objectives.
- Develop and maintain long-term supplier and subcontractor relationships across the subsea/offshore industry.
- Drive standardization, efficiency, and cost optimization across procurement and logistics processes.
Procurement & Contracts
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, vessels, and services required for subsea installation projects.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and frame agreements with key suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure all procurement activities are executed in line with company policies, project requirements, and industry standards (IMCA, ISO, client specs).
Project Support
- Work closely with project managers and engineering to anticipate material/service needs and align supply chain planning with project schedules.
- Mitigate risks related to supplier performance, lead times, and logistics constraints.
- Support tendering teams with cost estimates, supplier strategies, and sourcing solutions.
Logistics & Operations
- Oversee logistics operations including international shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, and distribution for offshore campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with export control, trade regulations, and CHSE requirements.
- Manage mobilization/demobilization of offshore equipment, vessels, and personnel.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals (buyers, contract specialists, logistics coordinators).
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the supply chain function.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cross-functional efficiency and alignment.
Profile Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent. Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years of supply chain experience, ideally within the offshore, subsea, EPC, or oil & gas sectors.
- Strong background in procurement, contract negotiation, and international logistics.
- Knowledge of subsea construction equipment, vessel operations, and offshore project supply chain challenges.
- Proven experience managing suppliers across Europe, Middle East, Asia, and emerging offshore hubs.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written). Other languages an advantage.
