Who we are

Indefi is a fast-growing strategy consulting firm serving financial investors - including private equity specialists diversified asset managers and wealth managers. Founded in 2007 we are now a team of 80 consultants based in Paris London Lyon and Madrid.

We operate through three business units :

• Corporate Strategy: We deliver strategic development projects for global asset managers including business strategy market entry distribution strategy product development inorganic growth and investment process enhancement.
• Private Equity: We support private equity firms throughout the deal life cycle helping them make better investment decisions and generate stronger returns. We also advise on firm strategy and development to drive value creation.
• Sustainability Advisory: We help clients design and implement their Responsible Investment strategy and operating model. Working across the investment value chain we support investors and portfolio companies in defining and embedding their ESG and sustainability ambitions.

Your mission

As corporate strategy consultants our work typically focuses on a core set of internal strategic initiatives for our clients :

• Designing business development strategies (e.g. market entry product innovation and distribution)
• Assessing inorganic growth opportunities (e.g. target screening due diligence strategic reviews M&A support)
• Supporting product development and benchmarking (e.g. evaluating or redesigning investment processes adapting products for new markets and channels)

Each project lasts from three to six weeks where a dedicated team of up to five people collaborates from start to finish. As a consultant you will have the opportunity to attend meetings with clients and Indefi partners.

To support our expansion we are looking for a candidate who will :

• Support strategic engagements for top-tier global asset managers by :
• Collecting data and driving analyses
• Conducting field research and interviews with market experts
• Shaping developing recommendations and presenting findings to leadership teams
• Work collaboratively and proactively as a committed member of the Indefi team
• Ensure deliverables meet the highest standards and consistently exceed client expectations
• Leverage prior and industry knowledge to become an internal subject‑matter expert
• Advise on the strategic implications of transformation across asset management organizationsAct as a role model and contribute to the training and development of junior colleagues

Your Profile

Required qualifications

• Degree from a top‑tier business or engineering school / university
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience at either strategy consulting firms strategy division or M&A department of international groups investment banks asset management or private equity firms
• Strong skills and experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Full fluency in English; proficiency in French or German is a strong advantage. A good working knowledge of other European languages would be a plus
