A leading technology company in Toulouse is offering a 6-month internship opportunity for students in their final year of Engineering school, specializing in Electronics or Computer Science. You will develop real-time software components for industrial applications and participate in prototyping new connected systems. Candidates should have knowledge of C programming and embedded systems, with a good level of English being essential for teamwork in an international environment.

The Secure Connected Edge team based in Sophia Antipolis is in charge of the development of embedded software for users of NXP processors and offers an internship position for a period of 6 months in order to participate in the development of our real‑time software components intended for industrial applications of connected objects.

Missions

Part of our R&D team you participate in the development of real‑time software components (industrial applications, communication protocols, etc.) in our TSN (Time Sensitive Networking) software stack running on a range of processors and under Linux, FreeRTOS and/or Zephyr operating systems. You participate in the evolution of demonstration prototypes used in the design of new‑generation connected systems found in industrial areas.

Our projects allow you to work on any layer of software stacks from low‑level drivers all the way to applications. With good communication skills in English and a willingness to work in an international environment, you will interact with functional teams from other countries.

Profile
  • Engineering school (Bac 5 last year of school) specializing in Electronics/Computer Science Embedded Systems Engineering.
  • Knowledge of application development in C language, RTOS, embedded systems environment (Linux or others).
  • Knowledge of Ethernet type communication networks or real‑time processing techniques (RTOS) is a plus.
  • A good level of English is required.
