A leading freelance marketplace in Paris is seeking an intern for its Community team to identify skills gaps and assist in community development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an appetite for business development, and be currently enrolled in a business school. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and possibly transition to a permanent contract.

As Malt is growing and scaling we are looking for motivated individuals to join our Community team. Malt is a community of more than 500K freelancers in France: tech, project manager, support functions, product designers, marketing consultants, etc. The Community team’s mission is to attract and activate most high value freelancers, engage them in the community, be responsible for their experience, and contribute to the growth of the company.

Being an intern at Malt means accompanying your manager in his daily actions thanks to real teamwork while becoming autonomous. At the same time, you will be able to invest yourself in internal projects thanks to your proactivity! If everything goes well, you might be able to continue the Malt adventure with a permanent contract directly after your internship!

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyze scarce skills gaps based on our clients' needs (AI, Cybersecurity, SAP).
• Cultivate AI market knowledge and expertise to empower internal teams for improved sourcing (internal training, creation on new sourcing tools).
• Assist in developing “future of work” communities (Onboarding, ensure profiles are product ready).
• Assist in setting up networking events and other high-touch activities for scarce freelancers

About you

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Appetite for business development & project management
• Currently enrolled in a business school or similar and looking for an internship contract from this January 2026
• You have a sense of service and a taste for interacting with the freelancers in our community
• You are very proactive, organized and responsible, you know how to work in total autonomy
• A native level of French and a good level of English is essential to be able to communicate with an international team

• First call with Sarah (our Talent Acquisition Specialist), to better understand your background, aspirations and answer your questions (30 minutes)
• Interview & case study with Céline & Lena, to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (60 minutes: case study -> 30 min presentation, 30 min interview)
• Final step coffee with the team to validate your profile!
• We will welcome you in our Parisian office!
