A prestigious hotel in Paris is seeking a Spa Receptionist Supervisor to promote spa services, manage reception tasks, and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, experience in a similar hotel, and fluency in English and another language. You will also collaborate with other departments and help train new staff within an elegant setting.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills required for customer interactions.
  • Experience in a hotel of similar category preferred.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other foreign language necessary.

The Peninsula houses 200 luxurious rooms, including 93 suites. Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, The Peninsula Paris is seeking a Spa Receptionist Supervisor.

Key accountabilities
  • Actively promote and sell spa services by maintaining knowledge of treatments, products, and programs, while building customer loyalty.
  • Be responsible for all cashier procedures at the spa reception desk and for the accuracy of cash registers at the end of each shift and each workday.
  • Ensure spa visits for all customers, VIPs, and members.
  • Systematically record and regularly update customer preferences, communicate important information to the team, while respecting customer confidentiality.
  • Organize appointments to optimize time management and profitability, while prioritizing customer needs.
  • Ensure that reception areas are clean, tidy, and organized at all times.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the Spa team's objectives, strive to achieve personal goals set by the Spa Director, and motivate the team.
  • Implement and enforce protocols by the reception team, while regularly updating manuals and work guides to ensure correct operating procedures.
  • Provide training for new arrivals at the spa reception and follow up, in particular by regularly checking their knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure that all customer needs are understood and met.
General Requirements
  • Have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be a team player.
  • Be able to adapt to a diverse and demanding clientele.
  • Be fluent in at least two foreign languages, including English.
  • Be proficient in the use of office software, including Opera, Outlook, and Concept System.
  • Have similar experience in a hotel of the same category.
  • Have a diploma from a hotel school/BTS/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
