Title : Solutions Engineer

Location : Hybrid - Greater Paris, France

The Solutions Engineer is responsible for leading technical qualification, demonstrations, and value illustration for our products. Working closely with Sales, they will leverage their technical expertise to evangelize our solutions, articulate our ability to solve business challenges, and play a key role in securing technical wins and closing deals.

What you will do

  1. Serve as the technical subject matter expert throughout the sales process, managing activities such as technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concept projects.
  2. Collaborate with the Sales team, jointly owning the sales cycle and account planning.
  3. Identify additional resource requirements within the customer organization and explore customer alternatives and internal sponsorship opportunities.
  4. Understand and document customer business and technical requirements to create value-based proposals addressing their pain points and business drivers, guiding the technical sales cycle towards a successful close.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts in the partner ecosystem, including training and enabling partners to drive opportunities to a close.

What makes you an ideal candidate

  1. Multiple years of experience in a technical pre-sales role with a solid understanding of enterprise sales cycles and processes.
  2. Domain knowledge in at least two of the following: AIOps, Digital Experience, Cloud Observability, Network Observability, Infrastructure Observability, or Application Observability.
  3. Strong understanding of Networking and related technologies such as SNMP, Flow, Packet Capture, TCP Fundamentals, Routing & Switching, Virtualization, SD-WAN, Cloud environments, and Applications.
  4. Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting virtually and in-person, storytelling, and translating complex technical designs into business outcomes.
  5. Solid knowledge of enterprise data center and cloud architectures from an operational perspective.
  6. Proactive project management skills to handle multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
  7. Sales-oriented mindset, capable of negotiation, influencing outcomes, closing deals, and acquiring new business.
  8. High trust factor, able to handle objections and questions effectively.
  9. Team player who proactively supports stakeholders including sales, Professional Services, support, project managers, R&D, and executives.
  10. Bilingual fluency in French and English.
