Job Overview
The Senior Marketing Consultant is responsible for leading a marketing, project and content team to deliver project(s) that span across one or more clients. Understanding the importance of the digital experience in the current world and being able to strategically help clients in that path, is crucial in this role.
Manage resources, schedules, financials and ensure quality and control guidelines throughout his projects/clients. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.
The Senior Marketing Consultant might have to coordinate a team of other Marketing Consultants, Project Managers and/or Content Managers to ensure the delivery of project(s) to one or more clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
Business
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters. He/she is the link between the client and the entire agency team.
- Develop recommendations to his clients and generates new business ideas for them.
- Project supervision (scheduling, deadlines, costs, quality).
- Ensuring operational briefs are correctly delivered to Teams.
- Lead the agencies ideas presentation, ensuring the ideas remain faithful to the brief and that it is kept within the time frame and budget.
- Conducting meetings with the clients as well as informing them about the current work status of their projects.
- Actively participate, alongside with the Account Director, in proposing GI targets for his clients or group of clients.
- Propose actions, overall or per client, if Gross Income deviates from objective.
- Provide up to date information on Gross Income of his group of clients on official reporting files. It is his/her responsibility to provide accurate information.
- Might be involved in execution of new business proposals.
- Mastering project costs (ensure skills real time update): Project and client evaluation; Needs vs rentability; Forwarding in time necessary elements for billing.
Operations
- Participate in weekly resource planning process, fulfilling the needs for the projects/clients he/she is responsible for.
- Participate in Team Meetings with the Account Director.
- Provide information to the Account Director regarding resource needs for a monthly and yearly basis planning.
- Participate in the evaluation of his projects and clients profitability (based on reports prepared by Operations Director) and take action accordingly (together with Account Director).
- Validate cost estimates send to client with Account Director and/or Operations Director.
- Keep updates and provides visibility + permanent access to necessary info for project advancement + deadlines + needs + project progress.
- Masters F6 tools + organization: Briefs / technological specificities / Processes / Planning / Project schedules / Forecast/ Financial (budgets, BQs) + other procedures.
People
- Might be responsible for a client team (other Marketing Consultants, Project Managers and/or Content Managers).
- Monitor and evaluate his project team staff performance.
- Work in an efficient manner within Team + other departments teams.
- Reveal openness to accept/discuss ideas with other departments + accept/positively challenge clients' feedbacks.
Qualifications
- Over 8 years of experience in digital marketing.
- Commercial skills, ability to identify business opportunities and close the deal with clients.
- Ability to work across departments, with a “get things done” mentality.
- Ability to work under stress, maintaining a clear mind in stressful circumstances, providing guidance to other team members.
- Understanding of the core CX areas: strategy, content & creativity, interface development, performance marketing and automation, data & insights.
- Empathy, ability to connect with clients and ensure that their needs come first.
- Tools and Software: Skills ; Forecast; JIRA; Trello / Asana ; MS Project.
