Join us as a Sales Analyst within our Equity Structured Derivatives team in Paris. The Equity Derivatives and Rates business provides derivatives, structured products and strategic investments for clients worldwide. The team works with a range of clients and is a recognized global leader in constructing structured solutions, for both sides of the balance sheet. In role, you will interact daily with a wide range of areas, both from front office (Sales, Structuring and Trading) and back office partners, and external clients. Some specific responsibilities include supporting the team for secondary market execution and support sales as the main internal contact for Structured Products (OTC and Notes) lifecycle events management. Further you will initiate and monitor new client onboardings and ensure accurate trade capture on internal systems.

To be successful as a Sales Analyst you should have:
  • Demonstrated understanding of product knowledge in Basic Derivatives, including Structured Notes
  • Evidenced understanding of trade lifecycle
  • Ability to coordinate with various teams to action items
  • Effective communication skills in both French and English Language
Other skills of value in the role include:
  • Attention to detail demonstrating a high level of accuracy to minimise errors
  • Excellent organisation skills - good time management, prioritising tasks and able to meet deadlines.
  • Some experience in supporting Sales/Front Office
  • Good analytics, statistics and problem solving skills with an understanding of SQL, VBA & excel functionalities beneficial

The position is based in our Paris Office.

This role is deemed a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.

Purpose of the role

To develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, and achieve revenue targets.

Accountabilities
  • Development and maintenance of relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.
  • Presentation and pitching of financial products and services to clients, tailored to their requirements.
  • Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of client requests.
  • Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.
  • Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to provide clients with insights and market updates.
  • Negotiation of terms and agreements with clients to finalise sales transactions.
