About the Role :

The Global Risk Solutions (GRS) Cyber Risk Engineering (CRE) team invites you to join us in consulting with underwriters on the technical risks associated with organizations seeking cyber insurance. Your role will involve bridging communication between stakeholders (underwriters, CISOs, agents, brokers) and developing our tools, services, and processes.

About the Department & Team :

CRE collaborates with our product team, cyber strategy team, cyber underwriters, and other groups within the Global Cyber Underwriting office.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Consult and advise underwriters on evaluating cyber risks of companies seeking insurance.
  • Provide advisory services and support loss control to help clients manage and reduce their cyber risks.
  • Lead thought leadership initiatives on cybersecurity and insurance topics.
  • Assist underwriters in reviewing the cyber risk of organizations, considering the specific technical context of each.
  • Support ongoing client relationships by helping them improve their cybersecurity posture.
  • Build internal and external awareness and understanding of cybersecurity and insurance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and conduct standards, including the Senior Managers and Certification Regime, Solvency II, and data protection policies.

Skills and Experience :

  • Experience in cybersecurity roles such as security engineer, architect, CISO, evangelist, or GRC analyst.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Inclusive mindset and willingness to collaborate with a global, diverse team.
  • Ability to handle uncertainty and complexity in risk assessments.
  • Technical knowledge of cybersecurity, demonstrated through certifications, skills, or standards.
  • Languages: Fluent English and either French or German; Arabic is a plus.
