A growing fund operations provider in Paris is seeking a Risk Controller to monitor and implement risk control frameworks, ensuring compliance with AIFM regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in risk control, strong knowledge of the financial regulatory environment, and must be fluent in both English and French. This role offers a competitive compensation package, a flexible work setup, and opportunities for professional growth.
fundcraft is a digital-native fund operations provider, headquartered in Luxembourg, with a mission to transform how alternative investment funds are launched and managed. Our product combines technology, regulatory expertise, and operational excellence to streamline fund management via our proprietary platform automating end-to-end processes and optimizing the full investment lifecycle of our clients.
Having successfully built our presence in Luxembourg as a licensed AIFM and central administrator, we are now expanding into the French market. Our objective is to provide alternative asset managers and distributors with a modern, fully digital, and regulation-compliant solution for managing alternative investment funds (AIFs) — including venture capital, private equity (FPCI, FCPR), private debt, and fund of funds — while offering the same quality of governance and risk oversight that we deliver in Luxembourg.
As part of the upcoming authorization of our French subsidiary by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) as an AIFM management company, we are building the team that will be based in Paris, France to support our French operations.
As Risk Controller you will ensure the effective monitoring and implementation of fundcraft’s risk control framework in line with AIFM regulatory requirements. This role is key in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial, operational, market, and liquidity risks associated with managed funds. The Risk Controller will develop and maintain risk tracking and reporting tools, conduct regular control tests, and ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting to supervisory authorities.
This position is based in France and reports directly to the Country Head France.
