Une entreprise énergétique mondiale recherche un Ingénieur Réservoir Junior (H/F) pour un contrat de professionnalisation de 12 mois. Vous aurez pour mission de réaliser des revues littéraires, de contribuer à la mise en place d'expérimentations et de valider les résultats. Ce poste est destiné aux diplômés récents possédant un Master en Géosciences. Des compétences en Python et un bon niveau d'anglais sont requis.

• Diplôme récent d'un Master en Géosciences requis.
• Solide compréhension des fondamentaux du génie des réservoirs et de la pétrophysique.
• Expérience dans l’utilisation des langages de programmation tels que Python.

Responsabilités

• Réaliser une revue exhaustive de la littérature sur les propriétés d'écoulement CO₂/saline.
• Contribuer au développement de l'installation expérimentale microfluidique.
• Valider les installations expérimentales à travers des mesures de données d'écoulement.
• Préparer un rapport final résumant la revue de littérature et les validations.

Context & Environment

The ICE (Imaging Center of Excellence) entity has the following objectives:

• Characterize the multiphase flow properties of reservoir rocks using 2D-3D X-ray imaging, microfluidic flow experiments, and pore-scale modeling (Pore Network Modeling).
• Use multi-scale imaging to understand the complex flow mechanisms in oil reservoirs and/or reservoirs targeted for CO₂ storage.
• Use its range of multi-scale imaging tools (from nanometer to micrometer scale) to analyze the internal structure of all types of materials beyond rocks (such as batteries, etc.).

Activities

As an Entry-Level Reservoir Engineer (M/F), your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting a comprehensive literature review on laboratory measurements of CO₂/brine flow properties (relative permeabilities, capillary pressures) and identifying sources of uncertainty affecting these measurements.
• Contributing to the development of the microfluidic experimental setup designed to determine multiphase CO₂/brine flow properties.
• Validating experimental setups through measurement and interpretation of experimental flow data on reservoir rock (relative permeability and/or capillary pressure measurements).
• Preparing a final report summarizing the literature review, developments, and validation measurements performed.

Candidate Profile

Have you recently graduated with a Master's degree (Bac +5) in Geosciences? Start your career with a stimulating experience at the heart of international teams committed to the energy transition!

We are looking for a Reservoir Engineer - Entry Level (M/F) for a 12-month assignment starting in February 2026.

Do you have a solid understanding of reservoir engineering fundamentals, petrophysics, and general mechanics? You will apply these skills in your daily activities.

Comfortable with IT tools? You will work with Linux, the Office suite, and programming languages such as Python.

Are curiosity, rigor, and perseverance among your strengths? These qualities will be essential to successfully carry out your projects.

Strong writing skills and professional proficiency in English will be indispensable for this position.

We offer a 12-month full-time Professionalization Contract, including a training component (technical, language, tools). These trainings are delivered internally by organizations selected by TotalEnergies. This contract will allow you to gain one year of professional experience while being trained in the specificities of your role in connection with the Company's activities.
