Work Location: Italy or Paris, France. Occasionally Business trip to Shanghai, China
Ideal Candidate
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in Country Operation, Regional Operation, franchise sales, retail expansion, or business development
- Market entry models across European countries (e.g., direct sales, agency, joint ventures, e-commerce, and multi-channel strategies)
- Competitive analysis and differentiated positioning
- European operational strategies, European markets and consumers, apparel brand development models and operational principles
- Formulation of highly actionable plans, cost control, profit and revenue optimization, marketing localization (e.g., collaborations with European KOLs, celebrities, and fashion media), channel expansion
Responsibilities
- Develop market entry strategies for different European countries based on brand positioning (including direct sales, agency, joint venture, e-commerce, and other multi-channel approaches).
- Conduct competitive analysis and differentiate brand positioning by thoroughly researching competitors' operational strategies in Europe to identify brand breakthrough opportunities.
- Understand the European market and consumers, possess retail operations experience, be well-versed in apparel brand-building models and operational principles, accurately identify brand development pain points, develop highly actionable solutions, control costs, optimize profits and revenue, and drive the achievement of operational and strategic goals.
- Marketing localization: Collaborate with European KOLs, celebrities, and fashion media to develop localized marketing strategies.
- Possess strong business acumen, excel at cross-functional and multi-perspective work, and have experience handling emergencies and complex matters; demonstrate strong channel development capabilities, high interpersonal sensitivity, and the ability to quickly establish and maintain business relationships with partners during negotiations to facilitate business objectives.
Job Requirements
- Industry Experience: 6-8+ years of experience in the apparel and fashion industry, with successful expansion cases in the European market.
- Channel Resources: Familiarity with the operational models of European retail companies, department stores, boutique stores, and e-commerce platforms.
- Business Acumen: Ability to balance brand identity with commercial returns, with expertise in negotiation and data analysis.
- Cultural Adaptability: Ability to efficiently manage teams in multicultural environments.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (business negotiation level); proficiency in French/Italian/German is a plus.
