The Opportunity

Keyrock is expanding its Algorithmic MM desk and we’re looking for a Quantitative Researcher based out of Europe ( remote working possibility) to contribute to the P&L of the team. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your passion for markets and innovative problem-solving in the fast-paced world of high-frequency systematic trading in crypto. You’ll be exposed to cutting-edge trading strategies within a growing and evolving market landscape, with additional layers of complexity that create opportunities for solving technical challenges with innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and develop alpha-generating signals.


• Build statistical models and ML frameworks.


• Collaborate with developers and traders on strategy implementation.


• Add value across the profit pipeline including alpha generation, inventory management, risk management, execution and strategy logic.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years quantitative research experience within a HFT/MFT systematic environment


• Advanced degree in quantitative field preferred (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering)


• Python expertise with proven research track record


• Critical thinker and data-driven decision maker


• Entrepreneurial drive


• Experience with market-leading modelling and learning methods


• Experience with the high performance requirements of HFT and understanding of how systems need to adapt to compete at low latencies


• Experience in both traditional finance (TradFi) and cryptocurrency markets is highly desirable


• Elevated communication skills and fluency in English to be able to work effectively with globally distributed teams.
