Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor organizes production in a changing environment while ensuring team cohesion and compliance with site operating rules. He or she is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines, as well as production quality within his or her workshop during his or her shift.
• Ensuring the safety of the teams under his/her responsibility
• Managing his/her teams in accordance with all Amcor best practices (performance culture, measurement of results, recognition, etc.)
• Ensuring the proper execution of the production plan in accordance with the requirements defined by the supply chain
• Plan, communicate, and adapt staffing levels on a daily basis
• Anticipate staffing and training needs to develop the versatility and multi-skilling of teams
• Effectively communicate all useful information to teammates; work as part of a team
• Ensure the reliability and quality of management indicator data
• Set rules and enforce them within your workshop (instruction manuals, self-maintenance, compliance with schedules/internal regulations, etc.)
• Propose and implement improvements in your sector (after validation, if necessary, by your superiors)
• Be a role model and set an example on a daily basis
