A leading technology solutions provider in Paris is seeking an IT Product Lead to manage application lifecycles in HR and Risk Management domains. The role demands product ownership skills, including roadmap development and operational management, ensuring compliance with business requirements. Ideal candidates should have a master's degree, experience in IT product management, and be comfortable working in Agile environments. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and French is preferred, with a focus on improving process effectiveness and user satisfaction.

Description :

The purpose of this mission is to support daily business line with digital business applications ensuring end-to-end process effectiveness and efficiency. The IT Product Lead operationally manages the lifecycle of the applications owned or in partnership with Global Product teams, from project setup to decommissioning through operations. The service ensures quality of service aligned with Business requirements, in compliance with policies and budget guidelines.

The role covers a dual responsibility : 70% product ownership (roadmap, prioritization, user stories, strategy) and 30% operational management (application ownership, incident management, decommissioning). The Product Lead will act as the central point of contact for a portfolio of 5 to 10 applications in the HR and Risk Management domains (e.g., talent acquisition, talent development, risk & project management), ensuring seamless delivery and operational stability.

Key responsibilities include :
  • Managing the product functional & technical feature backlog
  • Controlling quality of service and managing incidents (L2, coordination of L3, oversight of L1 handled by a team in India)
  • Developing product costing and positioning strategies
  • Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Gaining a deep understanding of customer satisfaction across business lines, and as an entity
  • Identifying and filling product gaps, generating ideas to improve process effectiveness, user satisfaction, and efficiency
  • Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Developing product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Scoping and prioritizing activities based on business impact
  • Working closely with engineering teams (within CIO, Global Product, or external vendors) to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resource use
  • Driving product launches, including collaboration with PR teams, executives, and other product managers
  • Serving as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Securing quality of service of application products for business lines
  • Ensuring full compliance with standards (including Security & Data Privacy)
  • Anticipating and managing end-of-life of applications through migration, replacement, or decommissioning plans
Specific Context :
  • The ideal candidate has an IT background, capable of understanding technical challenges while effectively engaging with business stakeholders (HR, Risk).
  • Direct experience in HR or Risk Management domains is not mandatory, but the ability to quickly grasp business needs is essential.
  • The technical environment includes JIRA (backlog management), ServiceNow (incident management), and regular reporting in PowerPoint for steering committees.
1 / Expertise :
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to senior management
  • Solid technical and / or functional background with understanding and / or hands‑on expertise in software development, web technologies, or business line operations
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to take initiative
  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization; business line expertise is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders (HR, Risk, IT), understand their needs, and synthesize requirements clearly
  • Experience in DevOps or application development is valued; ability to manage operational support (L1 / L2 / L3) is expected
  • Comfortable operating in agile environments with tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow (ticketing), and able to produce clear documentation (e.g., PowerPoint)
Qualifications
2 / Educational background & expertise :
  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • Strongly recommended : Certifications in Management, Security, or IT Governance (especially in response to compliance or regulatory requirements)
  • Professional experience in an English‑speaking environment is mandatory; proficiency in French is preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT product management, application ownership, or software development
  • Proven expertise in the function to be performed, including team coordination and stakeholder management

  • Ready to operate and support the platform on a day‑to‑day basis
  • Available to start ASAP – replacement for current Product Owner leaving at the end of December
