Principal Product Manager for Digital Flight Training Solutions – NAVBLUE SAS – Toulouse, France

Summary

NAVBLUE seeks a Principal Product Manager to own the Digital Flight Training Solutions (DFTS) portfolio. The role drives product vision, supports complex commercial deals, and collaborates across all business lines.

Accountabilities

The Principal Product Manager defines technical and functional statements for complex deals, ensures value delivery during implementation and support phases, and provides expertise throughout the customer lifecycle.

Additional responsibilities include developing and prioritizing new solutions and services informed by market insights.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain standard statement of work for non‑complex deals and decision criteria for complex deals.
  • Provide portfolio and software factory teams with insight on current and upcoming airline requirements and prioritize them for the product roadmap.
  • For complex deals:
    • Establish customer‑side and NAVBLUE requirements to optimize contract value while minimizing customization impact through Business Process Review (BPR).
    • Assess technical, functional and cultural risks for implementation.
    • Define technical parts of the contract statement of work.
    • Ensure value delivery and mitigate risks during implementation.
  • Support product delivery teams across regions for complex projects and priority customers (e.g., cutover support for Tier1 airline).
  • Contribute to NAVBLUE brand visibility through industry event presentations and white paper publications.
  • Support level‑3 support team for prioritization of advanced items and customer escalations.
Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Airline Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation training industry, including airline or OEM flight operations training.
