Join our HR Global Operations team as a Vice President leading payroll and play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll for France. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with key stakeholders and external vendors to streamline payroll processes. Be part of a team that values precision, compliance, and continuous improvement in payroll operations.

The Payroll Vice President will oversee and manage the payroll processes across several legal entities within France.

As a Payroll Operations - Vice President in the Human Resources department, you will support and drive the strategic HR agenda, participating and leading improvements to the current model, enhancing the overall control environment and working to proactively mitigate risk through effective governance.

You will have an opportunity to build positive relationships and partner with external vendors, business and functional colleagues to ensure consistency and best practice as well effective communication with stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely end-to-end processing and delivery of monthly payroll.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure monthly tax payments and compliance requirements are met for Benelux Payroll.
  • Respond to and resolve employee payroll queries with a strong customer service ethos.
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR to ensure seamless payroll processing.
  • Partner with external payroll vendors for timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Evaluate payroll processes for continuous improvement and identify risks.
  • Comply with GDPR and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience leading a team both locally and through a disbursed model.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive efficiency through use of Intelligent Automation.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end Payroll processes, Tax and Employment Laws as well as knowledge of Payroll Accounting practices.
  • Experience of managing complex cross border, shadow payroll and expatriate work arrangements.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritizedeliverables for oneselfand team.
  • Be a self-motivated and result-oriented individual with an ability and experienceto manage, motivate anda lead team of skilledstaff consistently, while taking equitable and fair decisions in leadership.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to make sound business decisions and understand when to escalate issues
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships with colleagues across the firm and external partners.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in procedures, processes and systems.
  • Fluent in English and French (verbal and oral) with astrong customer focus andstrong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex payroll processes or decisions to a variety of audiences.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience with ADP Global View.
  • Advanced Excel skills with ability to analyze / reconcile multiple data points and be able to articulate and present findings.
