Head of Sales / Regional Sales Manager – Metrology (France)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales / Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our commercial activities in France within the metrology and precision measurement sector.

You will drive revenue, expand market presence, develop key customer relationships, and lead strategic sales initiatives across manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, energy, and high-precision industrial markets.

This role is ideal for a sales leader with deep knowledge of metrology solutions—such as dimensional measurement, inspection technology, calibration systems, sensors, 3D metrology, or laboratory instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy for France, aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive new business development and expand market penetration in industrial and laboratory metrology.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, solution-based selling, proposals, tenders, negotiations, and closing.
  • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with key accounts, distributors, OEMs, integrators, and industry partners.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with product management and technical teams to ensure accurate solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, customer visits, presentations, and demonstrations.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in metrology, measurement systems, inspection technology, industrial instrumentation, or related high‑precision equipment.
  • 5+ years of B2B technical sales experience, preferably in a senior or national‑level role.
  • Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and quality control environments.
  • Ability to explain complex technical products to engineering, production, and quality teams.
  • Demonstrated success building pipelines and achieving multi‑million‑euro sales targets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer‑facing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling to automotive, aerospace, medical device, precision engineering, or research laboratories.
  • Existing network within French industrial metrology or quality‑inspection markets.
