A leading game development company in Saint-Mandé is looking for a talented Marketing Cinematic Artist. You will join the Mobile Special Projects Team, delivering high-profile projects that define the public representation of some of the most acclaimed games. Ideal candidates should have experience in video production and strong knowledge of game engines and 3D software. The position includes a flexible working arrangement with three days a week in the office and offers comprehensive benefits including profit-sharing and healthcare.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Team: The Mobile Special Projects Team is dedicated to The Division Resurgence, a strategic mobile AAA project for Ubisoft. You would be joining the Marketing Art Team.

Your Role: We are seeking a talented Cinematic Artist to join forces with the creative marketing team and already working closely with the Marketing Lead artist. Collaborating with a second Video Artist and a Motion Designer, you will be delivering high profile projects, leveraging in-game captures, sequences built with the game engine tools (UE) and video editing. You will help define the tone & style of the public representation of our games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the capture & scene creation for the game’s promotional material.
    • Craft bespoke cinematic sequences leveraging in-engine tools including camera animation, character setup and animation as well as prop dressing and lighting.
    • Support Video Artist with in-game capture and editing for trailers and promotional material.
  • Collaborate with the Market Lead Artist to develop creative that align with our brand and promotional goals.
  • Work closely with other artists, designers, and developers to ensure cohesive and visually appealing content.
  • Taking ownership for certain projects and self-produce/direct when necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and technologies into your work.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience working with video production in video games/game-engines.
  • Knowledge of a Game Engine such as Unreal Engine or Unity and Adobe Suite Softwares.
  • Able to work with 3D software like Blender, including bases in 3D animation.
  • Strong foundation in art, visual storytelling and cinematography technique.
  • Knowledge of color grading, sound editing/mixing, 3D or Visual Effects and/or still photography
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your cinematic production capacity and creativity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Knowledge of the gaming industry.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Our office is located in Saint Mandé, (Metro line 1, Saint Mandé station). Gym available in the building. According to Ubisoft's hybrid work model, our flexible work policy includes a minimum of 3 days a week in our Saint-Mandé office and the remaining 2 days working from home.
