Job Description

Within the CEI Composite Manufacturing team and reporting to the "Products, Simulation, and Analysis" team, you will support digital transformation and industrial performance across France, the USA, and Mexico. You will be responsible for deploying, optimizing, and industrializing data solutions to improve factory monitoring, quality, and productivity.

  • Deployment of data tools: Support the deployment of digital tools (MADAM – Manufacturing Data Management project) in collaboration with engineering, IT, and business teams.
  • Problem-solving and optimization support: Assist the Engineering and Methods departments in continuous improvement initiatives (8D, process optimization, quality/cost analysis).
  • Development of industrial data solutions: Design, model, and develop tools for collecting, securely storing (databases, cloud), and efficiently exploiting production data.
  • Data quality and reliability control: Establish control, remediation, and automation processes to ensure data quality, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with teams at Gennevilliers, Villaroche, Commercy, Querétaro, and Rochester sites.
  • Knowledge transfer and training: Train and support teams in data analysis and new tool usage.
  • Documentation & industrialization: Document processes, transfer knowledge, and industrialize developed solutions.

Job Requirements

Technical skills (Data Engineer / Data Analyst):

  • Proficiency with Data environments (cloud or on-premise), especially AWS.
  • Advanced experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Data modeling (star schema, normalization) and ETL design skills.
  • Strong Python development experience for processing and exploiting industrial data.
  • Familiarity with data flow management tools and APIs.
  • Awareness of data privacy, security, and confidentiality regulations.
  • Good knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Braincube), dashboard creation, and reporting.
  • Understanding of agile development methods and data project management.

Soft skills and methods:

  • Ability to adapt to various industrial contexts and new tools.
  • Good listening skills, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to bridge technical and business teams.
  • Autonomy, rigor, and ability to document and share knowledge.
  • Proactive problem-solving, continuous technological curiosity.
