Offer Description
- Support in the development of individual or collaborative research projects (monitoring funding calls, assistance with writing and assembling grant applications).
- Participation in the monitoring of research projects (assistance with writing activity reports and other project-related documents, scientific monitoring, and preparation of concise presentations on scientific topics of interest).
- Contribution to the dissemination and valorization of the team’s research results (assistance with writing and formatting publications, dissemination of results through various communication tools).
- Generation of content for the team’s website and other communication tools.
- Coordination of the organization of local, national and international meetings, seminars, and symposia.
- Identification of collaboration opportunities and coordination of teams to develop national or international collaborative research programs.
- Interaction with research support structures for all cross-cutting activities, including ethical, financial, infrastructure, and networking issues.
- Participation in the recruitment of team members (drafting and managing job advertisements, pre-screening applications based on CVs and interviews).
- Presentation of data in oral or written form, and preparation of materials for scientific presentations.
- Participation in the supervision and mentoring of team members (review of theses, dissertations, manuscripts, etc.).
- Management of databases and/or biobanks (sample repositories).
Qualifications
- PhD degree in Biochemistry, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, Oncology, Hematology or related disciplines
Experience
- Professional research experience in an international and multidisciplinary environment, in hematology and/or oncology
- Experience in coordinating and managing research projects is desirable but not required.
Required Skills
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in hematology and oncology.
- Good understanding of the challenges and key issues of translational research.
- Good knowledge of the organization and stakeholders of the research ecosystem.
- Proficiency in common computer tools (use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Enjoy working in a team environment, with the ability to facilitate and coordinate group activities.
- Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
- Enjoy working as part of a team and possess strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and dynamic.
