Responsibilities

Following an internal mobility, we are hiring for our Gonfreville-l’Orcher Plant (76) an Operations Maintenance Engineer (H/F).
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager (H/F), you will ensure proper maintenance of your sector. Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in planning and preparation of interventions across your zone
• Assisting in the preparation and budgeting of work in collaboration with the maintenance manager
• Leading unit shutdowns in your zone: supervising unit shutdowns, monitoring major shutdown preparations, defining scope of work
• Participating in maintenance projects
• Ensuring the technical availability of units under your responsibility
• Coordinating between maintenance and production teams

Qualifications

• Either an engineer in a technical field with at least 2 years of experience
• Or a technician with 10 to 15 years of maintenance experience in the chemical industry

• Strong technical affinity
• Leadership skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Pragmatism and persuasiveness when necessary
• Proficiency in English for collaboration with English-speaking teams
• Knowledge of Urea or Ammonia manufacturing processes is a plus

Additional Information

• Valid B driving license and a vehicle are required to access the site
• This position involves maintenance standby duty approximately every 9 weeks
• This is a managerial position with a days-based work schedule.
