Job Description

Within the STS quality management team, in the SMQ department (approximately 10 people managing airworthiness approvals, internal audits, quality documentation, authorizations, indicators, archiving, and processes), we are seeking an airworthiness engineer to perform the following functions:

Approvals:

  • Ensure the compliance of the Management System documentation with regulations or customer requirements regarding airworthiness (Manuals MOP / MOE as applicable... and related procedures...)

Implementation of approvals:

  • Update procedures related to purely airworthiness activities (new and/or repair) of the company according to the targeted or current approvals
  • Handle actions to address gaps in airworthiness documentation identified during external and internal audits
  • Participate in authority audits (PART21G, PART145)

General:

  • Participate in working groups covering the scope with the SAFRAN group
  • Ensure regulatory monitoring with the group (Part 21G, Part 145)
  • Conduct training sessions for personnel on the content of MOP and MOE
