YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. Within the Group, you will join the Group Underwriting department, whose responsibility is to optimize the technical performance of AXA’s products and portfolios while ensuring technical risks are well understood and under control.

Within this Department, you will be part of the team Individual Life and Inforce Life Saving team, in charge of driving Inforce and Individual Life & Saving technical excellence at Group Level.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A highly autonomous Inforce Management Senior Expert is sought to lead the group-level inforce management roadmap. The candidate will be responsible for managing and engaging a diverse community of stakeholders across entities and at the group level, conducting technical reviews of inforce management portfolios, leading the inforce management community at Group level, and preparing and presenting strategic reports and documentation for senior management as needed.

  • Lead the evaluation of the technical performance of L&S inforce portfolios range:
    • Lead In-Depth Reviews of AXA subsidiaries’ L&S inforce portfolios. Key objectives are assessment of the quality of inforce portfolios, identification of technical issues and comparison to Group standards, as well as monitoring the implementation of associated action plans.
    • At Group level, provide technical support in the definition of the AXA Group strategy, ensure relevance of the financial KPIs at inforce portfolio level, and support appropriate monitoring of financial and actuarial metrics
  • Provide expert technical support to subsidiaries to address local challenges and ensure effective remedial actions:
    • Provide technical support to AXA’s subsidiaries on local technical issues where headquarters assistance brings added value
    • Actively contribute to expert working groups across entities, and ensure best practice sharing and knowledge management in relation to L&S products and pricing
  • Drive technical excellence in inforce management across the Group:
    • Provide benchmarks for technical excellence in the form of advice, guidance notes, tools and training in actuarial and product subject areas
    • Contribute actively to the inforce expert Group communities involving operational entities and Corporate center teams. Identify and disseminate best practices across operational entities and provide systematic group support where needed.
    • Participate in defining and rolling out the Life Cycle Steering community process in coordination with other teams within Group Underwriting Office, ensuring alignment and effective governance across the organization
YOUR PROFILE

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience within life, savings and investments products preferably as an actuary, and in an international context

Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of life, savings and investment products design, management and pricing methodologies and tools
  • Understanding of life, savings and investment product valuation and solvency principles
  • IFRS and financial reporting knowledge

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to work transversally in a large organisation and align multiple stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly self-motivated with a high level of autonomy and ability to effectively prioritise
  • Ability to effectively convey complex issues into clear and easy-to-understand oral or written presentations
